Whitewater Country

30 countries will compete in the 1996 Whitewater Slalom Olympics on the Ocoee River Olympic Course:

Now I know why they use three letter codes...it is a lot easier to spell. Now, the real challenge is for each of you to figure out what each of these countries flag looks like. Better yet, the 1996 Atlanta Olympics includes athletes from 197 countries! I challenge myself to identify each country’s flag and perhaps attempt to know each country’s national anthem during these centennial Olympic Games. Maybe the media can help us out with this Olympic world knowledge quest? I hope we all get an introduction to this Olympic quest during the opening ceremony celebration on July 19.
